Billy Weaks, LCPC

At his core, Billy Weaks, LCPC knows that we are not meant to walk alone. When things are falling apart around us, it is so easy to forget who is in our corner—but God does not leave us, crush us or forget us.

Billy truly enjoys walking with others as life brings about twists and forks in the road—and specifically, with those who feel weary that they have come to the same point over and over again. Whether it is a student trying to figure out what to do with their life (especially when it seems everyone else knows exactly what they are doing), a young adult dealing with relationship issues (or lack thereof), or just trying to figure out what to do next, Billy’s heart for counseling is distinctly marked by encouragement for those in the midst of transitions.

Knowing that God can and does use our story and experiences, not just to strengthen us, but to strengthen our relationship with him and even to encourage others, Billy loves to work with clients to help see their struggles turn into strengths—and find hope in God’s promises.

Billy works with children, teens and adults and focuses primarily on:
Dealing with anxiety, depression, school issues, college and career decisions, anger management, developing communication skills and relationship issues.

After earning his Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL, Billy spent four years in private practice in Wheaton, IL. Additionally, he holds an endorsement in School Counseling from Northern Illinois University, and actively serves as a high school counselor in Illinois. Additionally, Billy has a true passion and loyalty in youth ministry.

Billy’s heart and dedication to the youth, along with his professional experience in working with students in school, have also shaped his ability to support and care well for parents—and keep an open line of communication—as their children are in counseling.
