From a young age, Kristen felt drawn to listening to others’ stories and walking with them through life’s more difficult seasons. Her own counseling journey, combined with experience in various ministry roles, deepened her passion for supporting others in a holistic and compassionate way. Whether clients are navigating anxiety, depression, relational struggles, family dynamics, emotional regulation, or major life transitions, Kristen strives to offer a safe, authentic, and welcoming space. Central to her counseling approach is the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship can be a powerful foundation for healing and meaningful connection.

Kristen is deeply passionate about walking alongside individuals navigating familial stress, trauma, or life transitions. Having walked that path herself, she understands how challenging—and meaningful—the process of breaking generational patterns can be. She believes that healing generational wounds is among life’s most meaningful callings, and considers it a profound privilege to support clients through this journey. Whether addressing past family wounds or present-day challenges, Kristen meets each client with empathy, encouragement, and personalized support tailored to their unique needs and situations. She also has previous experience at a college counseling center, and especially enjoys working with college students and young adults as they navigate the complexity and transformation of this pivotal life stage.

Kristen received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Moody Bible Institute and her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She enjoys serving in children and student ministries at The Orchard-North Shore alongside her husband. In her free time, you can often find Kristen reading her Kindle, going for a walk while listening to a good podcast, or spending quality time with family and friends.
