Why a steeple?

Dating back to early church history, steeples are not only a beautiful part of architecture, but they served a great purpose.

Before cell phones and GPS frenzies, a steeple was what you headed for when you needed to find the church. All you had to do was keep your gaze fixed high and keep one foot in front of the other, and you simply couldn't get lost. You knew exactly where you were heading.

Today, though we see far fewer steeples, the ones that we do see cut through the skyline like nothing else—and they are unmistakeable. When you see that beacon in the sky, you know exactly what you're going to find.

For these same reasons, symbolically, the steeple is an integral part of who we are and what we do. We're not only deeply connected with churches and pastors, but we believe wholeheartedly that the counseling you'll find here will beautifully cut through all else, and that you'll find what you're looking for. We believe as you keep your eyes fixed heavenward, you will be led to places that deeply restore your soul.
