Oliver Robinson, LPC

Rev. Oliver Robinson, LPC, MDiv, MA, is a licensed professional counselor whose work focuses on the relationship between spiritual life and mental health. He works extensively with individuals navigating questions of faith, meaning, doubt, and suffering, helping clients engage spiritual concerns within the context of careful, responsible clinical care. His approach is marked by depth, clarity, and attentiveness to the ways spiritual struggles shape emotional and psychological well-being.
Alongside his clinical work, Oliver serves as a Professor of Counseling at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he teaches Counseling and Theological Worldview and Assessments & Evaluation. His teaching equips future counselors to assess spiritual concerns with discernment and to practice with both theological faithfulness and clinical rigor.
Oliver is also an ordained Anglican priest and serves as the Vicar (Senior Pastor) of Grace Anglican Fellowship in Lake Forest, Illinois. Before moving to the United States, he ministered for ten years in inner-city London. His pastoral ministry profoundly shapes his understanding of spiritual formation, suffering, and care, and informs his work with clients seeking counseling that takes faith seriously.
He earned his Master of Divinity from Wycliffe Hall, University of Oxford, and holds an MA in Abrahamic Religions from the University of London. He is a husband and father of two, and enjoys literature, history, and motorcycles.
